The Toronto Six are looking for individuals to join our devoted team of staff members for the 2022-23 PHF season. The Six are looking for motivated individuals who are eager to enhance their skillset with hands-on experience in various facets of professional sports and entertainment. All listed positions are paid/volunteer. We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
Scorekeeper:
- Liaison with statistician to upload stats to HockeyShift at the end of each period
- Track all T6 games from the PHF game schedule
- Collect starting rosters from both teams, along with provided notes and game details
- Track goals, penalties, shots, shootouts, and more in conjunction with referees, lines-people, and team officials
- Obtain digital signatures postgame from both coaches and game/league officials
- Provide home team (Toronto) postgame overview summary/link to scoresheet before submitting to league
- Print or download a PHF approved scoresheet for safekeeping
Graphic Designer:
- Create and design images for use on social media, website, and other digital or print formats.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Social Media teams to develop design concepts, logos, or other graphics for use by the Toronto Six and PHF.
- Retouch and manipulate images.
- Assist with video production (editing, infographics, etc) as needed.
- Receive feedback from Marketing and Social Media directors and make necessary changes.
- Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to deadline.
- Other duties as assigned.
Game Day Ops. Volunteers:
- Manage the planning, preparation and organization of all entertainment aspects of home games to enhance the fan experience
- Execute game day plans, oversee the game day staff (video crew, in-game host, PA announcer, volunteers etc.) and all contests/promotions on the ice and in the stands.
- Staging of all promotions and props in coordination with group sales, partnerships. This includes all activities associated with a featured local team for each game-day
- Special events production -- ex. Power of She Game (Athleta), Celebration of Herb Carnegie's HHOF Induction, Diabetes Awareness Game (Diabetes Canada), Celebrate Youth Game (Canadian Tire), Pet Game (Orijen Petfoods)
- Organize in-game fundraising such at 50/50 draws, intermission puck toss in conjunction with community engagement lead (Kavya)
- Media, Scripting, corporate partner announcements, give-a-ways, partnership promotions, etc.
- Liaise with other game-day-related duties as assigned by the Manager of Game Day Ops.

- Ability to skate an asset
- Shovel snow between TV timeouts
- Reliable and responsible to show up for all home games
- Be a roaring good T6 snow angel!
